Beautiful! I wish that our flowers were doing better this year but, with all of the hot/cold weather, they've grown quite stunted and lack that vibrancy. :(
Great pictures, as always. (and the duchess's post was awesome and pretty spot on about people in general as well)

((Hugs))

Some of those flowers look pretentious.

laura, have you thought about fertilizing them with a couple cans of Molson?

That's why when something ridiculous happens, I leave the verbalizing to her, she's much much better at it.

if, that dew is total Eurotrash elbow patch, fall collection.

When you say, "power ballad song by American glam metal band Poison", I say:

"People are pretentious pricks" -- or is it "pricks are pretentious people?"

okjimm, rat?

jim, no, no, pretentious is people who post snippets of their offline creative works. Oh shit, we are.

duchess, yeah it does WAAH WAAH. Bah, and humbug, where are my jams?

if, at least you and/or jim didn't post a mashup of that monstrosity and the CL theme song because then I'd have to have the feds ban you both from the interwebs.

tom, pricks are the luckiest pricks in the world?

nicholas, lucky! (you should see the ones I didn't post, egads)

susan, are they very fond of you?

What Okjimm said, plus I have a tasty new tomato vinaigrette that works with everything.

My sense is that one wouldn't want to devour the things that give one the most pleasure. Now those pricks ... they are like cockroaches.

I see the Rodies are out early there in Clevelanistan. Reminds me I must fertilize mine before it gets too late.
But Molson? Nothing but the finest for mine so it's Olde Frothingslosh.

anita, turn the light on and they scurry back in the dark?

okjimm, thrash, not death. What's wrong with you?

demeur, not Old Milwaukee?
