Why don't you make like a tree and get outta here

Because the only revealable thought tumbleweeding through the barrens of my skull is that if Horatio Alger and Alger Hiss had a love child this Horatio Hiss would surely be a down-on-his-luck private dick, here's some autumnal leaving.

I just don't like it when the tree leaves turn mostly yellow and brown and then fall off. Some years that is all the fall foliage we get but this year we are getting a lot of deep reds, purples, yellows and oranges and it is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

I am at home today sick. :( I'll play on the laptop and lay in bed all day and drink herbal teas with honey and lemon.

Our trees are bigger than yours and they don't turn on you. So there.

if, you calling me a pecker? Which makes me think of this hilarity.

life, with each passing year there seems to be less and less red and affiliated colors, but I'll take some autumn over no autumn.

Watch some Buffy, too, that cures most non-malarial ills.

demeur, this is the Midwest, dammit, our trees are all about manners and hospitality.

Damn good pictures!

As for Horatio Hiss, got to wonder if J Edgar would hire him to watch those nasty commies.

anne, since the three or so pictures I've taken of myself over the years are of me eerily reflected in some kind of light-tricked glass, I have no answer outside it probably being this (images don't match the song, damn you, copyright bastards).

BB, only if he promises to not rat on him and Clyde.

love that leaf creeping up the tree there, though all of these are swank.

They had two love children: Horatio Hiss and Alger Alger. Together, they changed the world.

I miss the ancient trees that surrounded my house. This apartment complex has few trees and all of them are very young.

Autumn's consolation is glorious color in daytime and sweet music at night.
