Thirty days of suck XV: but you love silhouette night

Supposing I could have, should have, fabricated my own silhouette out of the skeletal remains piled in the basement & a torch, but then how huh? would have been the inevitable bitching about the episode from which the below finds its origin story, the distant early warning of the beginning of the zombification of The Simpsons. All one needs is the first ten, none of that base six crap.

Tomorrow, indecently long exposure, officially, but since my camera comes from the Quick Stop, you'll get whatever I damn well post, hate like it, & be glad it's not you-know-what.

Watching reruns of the Simpsons was the last television I watched. Are you saying the show eventually became a shadow of its former self?

if, In the Garden of Eden is still his best track.

laura, someone's not thinking of the children!

susan, in short, oui.

Yeah, man. Chelsea totally let that game get away. Valencia, to their credit, kept pushing forward. I don't remember the goal looking anything like your screen pic, though.

How's Cyprus doing in the Champions?

The light and color. I'm captivated by this image. Did you study under Dorthea Lange?

I've noticed when sitcoms' writers are burning out, the scripts start involving travels to far destinations, time travel and cameo appearances by celebrities. I don't think this applies perfectly to cartoonified sitcoms, but if you do see it happening, the show is probably on its way out.

jim, Principal Skinner came on for Lampard, & then he had that handball, which tickled my funny bone.

Now that's a great story, beat Zenit 2-1 & drew with Shakhtar. You figure that even with Falcao gone, Porto should advance but they got whacked by Zenit. Fucking group play minimizes the underdog, but how could would it be to see APOEL advance? (I think this is their first ever win in the CL)

OP, under the table. Don't ever try & outdrink Lemmy.

SWA, Homer went from a lovable dumbass to crazy neo-douchebag. And for every great usage of a guest (Danny DeVito, John Waters) there was the 30-second Mark McGwire cameo. Oh well, what show is still rolling once double digits are hit.

That's why I like Futurama, its so bad and campy its a work of art.

Don't have a cow man! Like to see you write 20+ years of good stuff consistently. Even the great Graves has a few dud posts.

tengrain, are you Hugh Jazz?

tom, boomchickawowowow.

lisa, can I see your copy of Swank?

BB, Futurama started out with a certain level of goofy non-realism, so, unlike the Simpsons, it was already built in.

demeur, The Simpsons stopped being consistently good around season eleven, & shit, I'm lucky if I've had more than two or three good posts over 4+ years.

Michael Bay, to pick an obvious example, earns millions, but he has, does, & always shall suck ass.
