More get your war on

At least my Senator (the non-Voinovich strain) didn't go on record as being a coward, so, um, yay for Ohio. Wake me when we have a real majority leader.

I fear this is a defining mommment, much as we had several defining momments in 2002/2003 that led to the invasion of Iraq, I fear that this is one of those mommments that paves the road to bombing Iran with Lieberman Gold.

I fail to grasp how any rational human being could wish to bomb innocent civilians.

I am getting sick and tired of world leaders dragging The People into their fights.

Let Bush, Lieberman, and Ahmadinejad entire the octagon to settle their differences. Why do they have to drag the rest of us into it?

These lunatics are thoroughly convinced that blowing shit up is the only possible solution, that diplomacy is merely the arena of girlymen. Once you've convinced yourself that [insert world leader] is the next Hitler/Stalin/Lenin/Pol Pot/Chavez combined, well, how could we possibly talk with such psychotics?

I keep on seeing that "the really mean and nasty paragraphs" were taken out of the resolution. Big deal. Is not the Revolutionary Guard still designated as a terrorist group?

I fear that American people are going to grudgingly go along with it, too.
