Eventually the Pentagon hopes to create a new system - not necessarily a database - to "streamline such threat reporting," according to a brief statement issued Tuesday....a new one to begin. So much easier this way, isn't it.

Unfortunately, the old system and the new system are only the tip of the iceberg. There are at least a dozen other databases and systems--some now declared illegal by Congress, some not--out there in 'Fed-land'.
