Start Wars

"This isn't the withdrawal you're looking for."

After that, another four brigades would be withdrawn by July 2008, he said. That would leave the United States with about 130,000 troops in Iraq.
So, was the surge good for you, too, baby? Petraeus said the report was original work, that he didn't cut and paste from Conservapedia or copy any of the scribbling on the White House bathroom stalls. Anyone not paid by a wingnut slush fund or wilfully ignorant would've had a hard time buying any of the poorly-staged theatre today. It could've been really fucking hilarious if not for all the dead bodies.

Get the feeling that those 130,000 troops will still be there in the run up to the 2012 election?

Nope, they'll be in Iran fighting to keep 1M inflamed Iranians from pouring over the border seeking revenge.

I don't know, with our technological advantage lost along with our drained resources, at nearly 10:1 I might take the Iranians to do whatever they damn well please in Iraq. Roland may have fought heroically, but the Saracens still kicked his ass. Of course, I'm not Very Serious, so I'm sure we'll be victorious. And I haven't even brought up the nukes that you mentioned. :)
