I found a better library Randal. One with wimmin. I guess that's okay for a guy with few interests outside the Internets. The book says so anyway.
Mr. Macrum,
What library isn't full of of lustye womynfolke?
And Randal, you forgot to add some Amanda Palmer-style "Backstabber" to this post. Just sayin'...
This absolutely means one should be misanthropic.
Right, Miss Anne Thropic?
~
mrmacrum, what better place for dirty old men bird watchin' than a college library?
thatgirl, verily, amid shellves of bookes is a veritable Renaissance fayre of victuals & cleevage.
Good point & fixed.
if, if you wish to negatively impact the resource paradigm, would you like fries with that is all I'm saying.
// there is nothing fair in business//
sounds some GOP platitude, dude.
or a fortune !00 manifesto. or just goes to show that there are a ........
....hmmmmm gotza to mull over all this info.
just had an unfinished Epiphany.
Graves, you swine!
I must ask again: did you get permission to republish the IBM Employee Handbook?
(Note that the third edition prefers garroting your co-workers. Less chance of fingerprints.)
Regards,
Tengrain
okjimm, don't be pinning that jazz on the goopers, plenty o' Goldmans in Dum organeering.
Your Packers better fucking win.
tegrain, ja wohl! Eef yoo dunt eencreese zee profits, yoo vill be sent to the Russian front!
I was gonna pick at the same point okjimm hit, with the same observation Randal made... sleeping late again.
The problem is divorcing "business" from "personal," which requires depersonalizing acts done for "business."
It's really similar to the mode shift from "peace officer" to "law enforcement officer."
One keeps the peace.
The other enforces laws, regardless of whether those laws will promote peace or friction.
But the pressing issue of the day: from the dating perspective was Brandon Cruz an albatross, or a clever attractor, for Bill Bixby's single dad of the 70s?
That doesn't read like the description of a good union job.
Can you cite your source? Scarily intriguing...
Further proof of what a wise man once told me: "In the sack and the workplace, nice guys finish last."
charles, that's a tough question, though I don't think we can discount the arcane prestidigitarianism Mr. Bixby learned during the run of The Magician.
susan, I don't know which unions you're familiar with but I know a few dues-paying misanthropes.
betty, Office Warfare, came out in 1986 or 1987 I believe. We've been trying to get our hands on some newer stuff (i.e. same shit, different language) but it's mostly been a parade of phenomenological studies as opposed to how-to-be-a-jerk manuals.
SWA, are you saying Wilt the Stilt was not nice?
The Dresden Dolls -- aptly named. They look like a cross between the New York Dolls and those Dieter skits on Saturday Night Live.
I don't know how NOT to be misanthropic.
If the early bird catches the worm then what does the bookworm catch?
Just another example of how LudiChrist was right - Most People Are Dicks.
I thought this was going to be a post about the Courtship of Eddies father. Isn't where that song came from? I feel ripped off.;-)
tom, now is the time on internets when we dance if not killed by an ice storm.
übermilf, blame the ice storm.
demeur, the ice storm.
chef, you'd be a dick too if you had to live through an ice storm.
LBR, the Courtship of Eddie's Ice Storm.
Apologies all, the entirety of North America above the Mason-Dixon line suffered wintry weather in the middle of winter, a heretofore unknown experience, one our conscious minds weren't ready for.
