Since we're on the subject of 'now I am become love, the destroyer of worlds,' here's an accompanying tune that I'd say fits the mood.
Sure is nice to let someone else do all the work.

She's freaking me out, Randal.
Nice. Very nice. I have never heard of Jill Tracy. Vocals fit the piano licks and the tone of the tune. I now have her on my "to get" list. Really nice solo at the end for sure. I am a sucker for the piano.
As for fitting your current mood - well okay. That sucks dude.
dguzman, in a bad way?
mrmacrum, definitely pick up her stuff. The first album has more of a string backbone, the second (of which this track is from) goes a bit deeper with the percussion. Lovely stuff.
For some reason I thought this was Annie Lennox. She has that Lenox weirdness and intensity. I loved it. But are you currently tortured? Is the Library getting to be a happier place and it's (a possible she?) driving you crazy?
Was ist dis?!
utah, la bibliothèque est feminine, oui. This place always drives me crazy.
frederick, das ist sehr gut! Holy shit, I think I remembered something from high school Deutsch.
I never heard of her either, but I like it. Sort of like a darker, more dissonant version of Vanessa Carlton.
And here I though you were going to serve up a Metallica video. Cool song. She's music's answer to Anne Rice.
She reminded me of Annie Lennox too for the same reasons Utah mentioned.. or maybe Joel Gray. She does have a cool voice.
SEE! This is what really pisses me off about not having a computer and only having access to fucking systems where I can't watch vids.
oops! Never mind. I guess that is part of the charm, etc.
I'm sure it was interesting.
LOL @ "maybe Joel Grey". Love you Susan!
And, love Jill's gloves, feather wreath she wears on her neck, sequined swim cap, and her bazaar assortment of jarred goods. ;-)
DISGRACEFUL, GRAVES!
The show was MADE for you tonight. How do you not call in and give us a Browns opinion?
tom, the surface is never dissonant, but underneath? Most definitely.
spartacus, hmm, I never thought of it that way. You might be right.
susan, Joel Grey? Holy hell that's funny.
okjimm, I think we all need to chip in and steal you a computer so you can watch music videos.
LBR, she really does that fin de siècle/Weimar/jazz combo well, no?
kelso, aw shit, that was last night, wasn't it. I watched the Jets/Pats game and went straight to bed. Now I feel I need to do some kind of penance.
dude, sorry but that was one of the most over-acted melodramatic piece of ... um... well, let's just say I, unlike other commenters, did not enjoy that.
sigh.
I love it. Like MrM, I've never heard of her before. Thanks.
