Champagne & Reefer

Cruel fate, sheathe your misericordia!
Serendipity, how shall we praise thee?
For I had zip, thus, Wikipedia.
This, that, a birthday search or three, you see.
Ah! A chance through musical media
to promote debauchery, sin and glee --
er, brain, a rhyme? "Encyclopedia."
Thanks, and may your Saturday be Muddy.

Jesus, I love the blues. That is fantastic.

I wish I could play like that...

Damn, now I'm in the mood for some catfish gumbo, raw oysters, and fried okra. Good blues makes me hungry.

dean, that does kick all kinds of ass, doesn't it?

BB, people talking about food makes me hungry. Though I think I'll pass on the raw oysters.

Graves, you swine, my favorite local Cajun place was not open for breakfast today. No jambalya scramble, and no live blues for breakie for 'Grain.

Thanks a lot.

Well this is my kind of party. I washed my champaign glasses today, though they haven't seen a drop of champaign in years, but I always have a little reefer on hand. And I'll have what Beach is looking for.

The blues have always made me feel better. How could I dare to be sad about my own selfish problems after listening to them?

Beautiful.

For now I'll have to settle for the red wine.

(Ermitrude elbows Lucas, saying, "Eh, you see here, it's like I told you it would be. Those loose-living libruls are planning a bacchinalia! Blues! Booze! Food! Pot!!! Next thing, they'll be runnin' around nekkid and . . .Oh, get the inhaler. I feel the vapors coming on.)

Reefer? What's a reefer, may I ask? Never heard of 'em. ;-)

There's a reason Chicago is a Blue's town...have you seen this freakin' weather we're having in April? White Sox opener postponed because of snow. Sheesh.

Ah Muddy Waters. Always regret a bit that I never saw him play live.
