Eternal summer

A pox upon your house, fell tyrant, weather!

Oh, cold, grey skies, how I miss you so. Sniff.

I'm so excited about the warm weather! Biking! Running! Gardening! Oh..the fun! Wait....oh shit, maybe in a few weeks.

Hey...serving cake at my place, be there or be square.

Now you've gone and done it! Put a hex on the summer. Everybody knows you can't reprint an entire 7 day forecast!!!! You've jinxed it! Stay out of Iowa! The Winter gods are now officially on your case. I'd leave town if I were you.

We had 70s this past weekend, then 40s all week, including some hail yesterday. Trade ya!?

70's tomorrow, 80's into next week...Boston will be nice!

nunly, boo! But I'll have some of that cake.

youchangenamesmorethanprince, as long as the winter follows me here, I'll be hexing and casting and invoking for all seven days!

dguzman, gladly!

chef, that's horrid. My condolences.

dusty, 98°? Only freaks and mutants like that crap.

It's struggled up to the mid-40's here at almost midday, despite the fact it's sunny. We had a few days of sun and above-average temps, finally, after an eternity of crapweather. But Mother Nature seems determined not to spoil us.

Lucky you, RG. I hope that forecast turns out to be accurate.

Supposed to be in the 80s this weekend in NJ. I can't wait! I'm not a winter person....I know some people love winter but I'm not one of them!

Today I awoke to yet another 39' degree morning, gray skies and drizzle.

Allegedly, it is supposed to be 70' degrees tomorrow and 80' degrees Saturday. I'll believe it when I see it.

The 6 month winter is why we're not staying in the NE but instead, returning to California ASAP. This has been the longest 2 years of my life. No wonder New York has lost 1.97 million residents since 2000.

I like summer as long as it doesn't get too hot. But I'm much more of a winter and fall person.

Dusty, that's what I remember about California (Sonoma County, north of San Francisco). Cold and pouring rain for about 4-5 months, and nonstop heat waves the rest of the year.

You got it Tom!!! ;)

I do love fall and spring however.

We are in the midst of our two weeks of Spring between Winter and Summer here. As compared with other parts of the country our Winters here in South Carolina are not bad at all. While, at least for me stuck in the godforsaken Midlands, Summers are one long string of uberhumid but dry days.

Graves, you swine!

We've already had three days in a row of 90°+ heat (one day was well over 100°); I don't want to hear any sniveling when whatever square, fly-over state it is that you live in:\
1) goes underwater
2) gets blown down by a tornado/hurricane
3) has an alien invasion

Crankily yours,

Tengrain

Spring and fall are the longest seasons in the PNW.. They go on and on and I rather enjoy them.

SWA, I hope it's wildly incorrect, but lo, there be sun today.

mauigirl, winter is merely misunderstood.

christopher, but there are actual seasons up here. Imagine living in San Diego, for example. Shudder.

tom, that pattern would get annoying quick.

dusty, one reason I'm hoping for rain is so that Hamels' next 752 starts get washed out, the bastard.

BB, I'm surprised to hear you guys get an actual spring, even if it is short.

tengrain, Ohio ain't the butt of so many jokes now, is it! Well, unless you live down south, they still get tornadoes.

susan, that sounds like the place to be then.

I'm sorry, I couldn't read this from the glare of the sun streaming through the window....

Weather weirdness. I'd take a little of it, though.
