Tales from the Crypt

Now that's my kind of boatmanwoman. Every Tomb, Dick and Hairy will be after her. She can spook me anytime.

It would be a grave disservice to pass on listening to this album. Perish the thought, for if I had that skeleton in my closet, I would just die. But since we're all in good spirits, go on and bury whatever fears may be haunting you and open your heart. Just remember, you'll have to open your chest cavity first.

So, these are some kind of scary ballads?

Hades had good taste in ladies (I didn't mean for that to rhyme). Persephone is a hottie. But she does have really big hair. ;-)

Have you been inspired by the 25th anniversary of Thriller? What a voice.

SWB, they don't appear to be, based on the write-up on the back, but an actual story in multiple parts. I don't have a turntable myself, so I haven't had the chance to listen to it. I really should just buy one.

LBR, I've been trying to come up with a bad pun using 'pomegranate' - pommes de terre, granite - but I'm failing miserably. Perhaps Persephone originally hails from Texas. ;-)

angie, that really makes me feel old. I keep on trying to impress upon our kids just how HUGE that album was, the videos.

howza this...

It had been a great evening. She invited me up to her apartment. I thought, perhaps, she wanted to make love but instead she just wanted to pomegranate.

I still say the Bonanza Christmas album is scarier.

Yes, look at that lovely big hair! There is something so soothing about her and all those (num)skulls! Throw Vincent Price's voice in there and we do have a winner! :)

Randal, That's what I was going to say about the big hair.

B, That was funny..num skulls! HA

okjimm, yikes, is that what the kids are calling it these days?

dean, available on CD!

tom, it's harder coming up with Cryptkeeper-esque puns than I thought!

b, hey, death is sexy, at least that's what all the goth kids say, and who are we to question them?

fot, yeah, that pun sure was pretty bad, huh. sorry, b. ;-)

dr. zaius, I think if you look really close, you can see the L.L. Bean tags on the skeletons' jackets.

RG, I saw turntable/CD player/some other stuff disguised as an old-fashioned radion at Target the other day. It's like $80. I want that thing!
