How to win a war

"My friends, what Russia is doing to Georgia is reprehensible. And although Cindy and I are too many states away to help, rest assured Atlanta, we will never forget you."

How cool a name does the NATO Secretary General have?

C'mon man, we're only down by one, jaap de hoop!

Сопротивление бесполезно. Уступка сейчас.

(Resistance is futile. Surrender now.)

Russia had no choice. They had to act immediately. There was no time for frivolous debate.

Georgia has Weapons of Mass Destruction! There are clear links between Georgia and the Chechen terrorists who have been attacking Russians. Russia will bring democracy to Georgia.

I thought Georgia had peanuts. Are peanuts weapons of mass destruction?

Hey, speaking of cool names, when Bill Clinton was President, he tried to get a meeting between Yassir Afafat and Benjamin Nathan "Bibi" Netenyahu. When Clinton introduced them, he said "Yassir, that's my Bibi."

I have more. Really I do.

I was going to comment, but "Yassir, that's my Bibi." beats anything I can come up with.

Nicely done prez...

UC, держите вашу коммунистическую пропаганду к себе, пожалуйста.

tom, whoa, hold on a minute. That plan will only work if they do everything in exactly the same way we did, not merely general directives but each and every detail.

diva, no, but Georgia is home to History's Greatest Monster.

Groan. I mean, look out Richard Pryor!

I think this was a planned attack by Pro Western Allies. They didn't expect a prompt response from the Russians.

I personally wouldn't be surprised to see another false flag event in the next few months. Hopefully it is just that.

AHB, wouldn't surprise me one bit if you're right, but given how Putin and his puppet have made it abundantly clear that Russia is very independent of the West, I'd also be surprised if they didn't expect at least something from Russia.

If these jokers see McCain ending up in the shit box, well, they'll do whatever they can.

Shit&whiskers! they better settle that stuff quick... the Falcons play in Green Bay on 10/5..... and I don't want them to send any errant Ruskies that still might be lurking in Georgia...damn&such!

Ted Turner's behind this somehow! Also, if McCain wants to be taken seriously and still where a baseball cap to photo-ops, he has to wear it tilted like an OG.

Randal Graves said...

okjimm, but just think, if they DO send some commies in the place of the Falcons...well, the Falcons really suck so maybe you're right. The Russians may not know how to play, but they'll be so pumped up on that potato vodka, that bone-jarring hits will feel like feathers.

Falcons 72, Packers 3!

bradda, insane in the McCain, a cracker like me is goin' insane! Do the young gangbangers still listen to Cypress Hill? I don't know what the whipper snappers dig anymore.

Note to McCain: In Iowa, the "C-word" is "corn." Watch your mouth, OK?

If Georgia is under attack then Jimmy Carter can hardly be an impartial peacebroker.

Bradda- McCramps wears the cap because it makes him look YOUNG...like a kid don't ya know? and he really wanted to see Cindy 's Banana talents....he was heartbroken that she could not enter the Beauty (cough) contest....

As soon as I saw the news about Edwards I hightailed to your blog and all I find is a post on the "real" news story. Am I sad and naive that I am disappointed in Edwards?

Am I the only one who thinks they have McCain heavily medicated to control his temper?

I've been aware of him for at least 15 years (I used to live in Phoenix) and he was something of a firebrand.

Now, he's an old coot and never raises his voice. It's very odd and more than a little peculiar.

"My friends?" More like, "Where's my Lithium."

From the article:

President George W. Bush to the Beijing Olympics: "All sides should bring an immediate end to the violence and engage in direct talks to resolve this matter peacefully."

Yeah...cuz Georgie knows all about talking to resolve matters peacefully. I thought he called that "shock and awe" when he invaded...er, I mean "talked peacefully" to resolve the issue in Iraq.

I'm kinda jealous of Cindy McCain, though...getting my picture with a guy in a foam flower costume has always been a dream of mine. Sigh...
