Can't believe Hell Hammer were Swiss, I mean they're Cuckoo Clocks, chocolate, banks and good behavior.
I have a witches costume like that.
Well... okay, not exactly like that.. but, I have a witches costume.
Hellhammer. Lovely. :)
((Hugs))
Laura
holte, you'd be angry too if the only thing you had to eat all day was chocolate. The sugar rush has to go somewhere.
sunshine, so yours is even skimpier?
Yes, Hellhammer was a lovely band. Alas, they are no more. Sniff.
Well, thanks a lot Randal, now my ears are bleeding and I'll have to wash my hair today. You bastard! ;-)
And what's with the witch stereotyping? We....er, I mean they use electric brooms now. Sheesh.
I'll show YOU who's a witch. And scary.
Randal,
Tell the seniors loitering on here that Denny's has a discount dinner platter for people over 65 starting at 4PM. LOL!
About Hellhammer. They sound a lot like Venom. In fact, I can't tell them apart.
nunly, giving up that old school charm for modern convenience. Typical.
übermilf, I've already seen Cindy McCain.
christopher, hell - ha - like every proto-black/death band back then, they were shamelessly ripping off Venom. Thus, a quick death and rebirth into the brilliant Celtic Frost.
Is that band Three dog night with makeup?
I never heard of Hell Hammer before, but they sound pretty good. Maybe there's something in that Swiss chocolate.
Sweden and Denmark have some kickass metal bands, so maybe those "bland" countries aren't quite so bland under the surface.
A naught Hermione Granger all grown up? Please say yes.
Are those guys scary enough for ya?
Jesus.
Also listening to some P.J. Harvey here and she's scary too.
Kick Out The Jams Muthafuckas!
See? I'm hip to that jive.
you totally shot your wad on that one RG, what will you do for Halloween?
LBR, this is from their young, Greenwich Village phase.
tom, Hellhammer is essentially pre-Celtic Frost. Like christopher said, heavy Venom influence, though I think Hellhammer had better riffs. Only had a few demos and one EP before disbanding. People still rip them off today. Heavy fucking stuff.
And hey, when it's cold and you're snowed in, what else is there to do but rage? Of course, that doesn't explain Tampa with Morbid Angel and Obituary.
BB, now we don't have to feel so dirty!
liberality, scary can certainly come in many musical guises, I just generally prefer mine of the bleeding ear variety. ;-)
susan, you're one hep cat, sister.
JNRR, oh, I'll think of something, muahahahaha, etc.
Is there any potato chips left?
