The Good: The Edwards/Winslow Show went off without a hitch, thanks to the magisterial stage direction of Derek Anderson (3-0 TD-INT ratio) and the hard charging of ensemble cast members Jason Wright and Jerome Harrison. We score with the critics.
The Bad: Of course, we let a lot of goodwill slip through our fingers. Will the run defense ever improve? Ever? Bueller?
The Ugly: Living lackadaisical late made the score closer than it should have been.
Up next: Rest and relaxation on the sunny shores of Lake Erie.

When Derek Anderson played for the Oregon State University Beavers, we U. of Oregon Duck fans used to call him "Anderception". It looks like he is gradually working his way past that sorry nickname, and maybe into potential stardom! I love seeing Oregonians do well in the pros. I wish my Duck QB Joey Harrington was doing better, but oh well. I actually think the Jets' ex-Duck QB Kellen Clemens may be the best of the Oregon bunch yet.
And how about those Indians? If they don't eliminate the Red Sux, I will be sorely disappointed.
Anderson's interceptions can usually be attributed to Favre-itis ("I can get that throw in there, coach!") and momentary bouts of dumbassery. But, he does have an arm, and hey, other, more highly-touted QBs have certainly played worse! Harrington is an interesting case. He's probably playing the best ball of his career, but Atlanta is so bad, people wrongly assume it's because of him. I like what I've seen of Clemens (granted, it's been mop-up duty and one start) but his time is sooner rather than later.
And anyone not living in in the Northeast should be rooting for us!
